For information about DJ & J-MUSIC POSITIONS:
Contributor
- Someone who likes the share music singles/albums in JPz Records
- Must have a sense of QUALITY music file sharing (V0 or 320k mp3)
- Requires to know basic HTML
- Must follow a ‘posting format’ that will be instructed by Enosioph
Disc Jockey [DJ]
- Someone who is willing to share ORIGINAL REMIXES in JPz Records
- Must have experience in any of the following:
– Making beats
– Merging audio waves
– Basic/Advance wave editing
Singer or Vocalist
- Someone who is a good or excellent singer
- May have experience in Fandubbing
- Can reach a high or low pitch level
Webmanager
- Someone who can handle website management
- Familiar with HTML codes
For information about FANSUBS POSITIONS:
Traslator [TLer]
- Someone who is very good at Japanese
- At least level 2-3 (know at least 500-900 Kanji)
- Will directly translate Nihongo to Simplified English
Traslator Checker [TLCer]
- Someone who is very good at Japanese
- At least level 2-3 (know at least 500-900 Kanji)
- Will check and make sure that the TLer’s translations are correct and accurate
Editor
- Must have excellent English grammar
- May have a few basic Nihongo (Not really required)
- Able to edit subs (eg. ass & srt files type) using Aegisub
- JPz Records only follows AMERICANIZE ENGLISH
Timer
- Must have experience in timing ACCURATELY when subs are gonna appear and disappear using Aegisub
Karaoke Timer [KTimer]
- Must have experience in timing karaoke using Aegisub
Karaoker Effectser [KFXer]
- Must have experience AFX (Adobe After Effect) karaoke or Aegisub karaoke
- Should have a nice sense of what effect should make that match the show
Typesetter [TSer]
- Managing “signs” designing in the show
- Required the be experienced in AFX (Adobe After Effect) or Aegisub typesetting
- Should have a good nice sense of style that able to do signs that match the show
Encoder
- Someone who is experience with H.264 & XviD encoding, filtering and handling Transport Stream RAWs (especially with DVDISO)
- Must have a decent processor (powerful than Intel Pentium D at least)
- Must also have a decent internet connection
– Doesn’t need to be so fast
– Average 200-400kb/s download speed or above
- Able to hunt RAWs (Not really required)
Distributor [Distro]
- Someone who has space to distribute JPz Records releases (Music singles/albums or Fansubs releases) via torrent (P2P)
- In other words, must have a monster internet connection speed
- If possession of a seedbox, better! (Not really required)
Quality Checker [QCer]
- Lowest position, but most important position in the group
- Must process good eyes that able to spotted mistakes
- Spot grammar errors left by the Editor
- Spot timing errors (too early or too late subs) left by the Timer
- Spot typesetting (signs) errors left by the TSer
- Must have strong English grammar skills almost equal to the Editor to check English grammar
- Format to submit QC Report is by reporting errors in a text file (.txt) and submitting it to a higher staff member
