JPz Records: “Operation FIRE THE MEDIA”

Good news guys! Regardless what MEGAUPLOAD is up to, we’re switching file hosting server! Since it’s a new year we might as well, RE-UPLOAD EVERYTHING to make a fresh new start… again… And we’ve decided to go with MEDIAFIRE. So starting Febrary 2012, in JPz Records’s 5th Anniversary, we’ll be providing MF links in the mainpage. Firstly, we will focus on the JPz Records original releases (Fansubs, Mixtapes, EXIT TUNES, etc.) and then we’ll start re-posting the J-Music Collections again. It will be a slow pace start, but please bear with us. All the old ones and new ones will eventually be posted. Hopefully, with this new system we’re gonna provide will be more organized.

As from our previous reminder, since it’s a new year, we’re expecting new stuff, since JPz Records is EVOLVING and GROWING every single day. Of course, bigger stuff requires bigger responsibilities (like what Spiderman would say). That is why we ask WILLING (not lazy) volunteers to participate in applying for a staff position here in JPz Records. Here’s the current list we need to fill out:

Encoder (Fansubs Position) – Since our primary encoder is on a CPU pitch, we’ll require someone to encode ecchi stuff for the Fansubs Section. Must have experience in encoding DVD & BLURAY.

Typesetter (Fansubs Position) – Someone who can make logos & signs for each ecchi stuff we do. Must have experience in using Aegisub or Adobe After Effects.

QCers (Fansubs Position) – Bored people who wanna quality check our subtitles on each ecchi stuff we do before release. Must have decent ENGLISH GRAMMAR.

Distro (Fansubs & Music Position) – Someone who has a monster internet speed to torrent and seed the stuff we release. It could be either ecchi stuff or music stuff.

Contributors (Music Position) – Someone who can tag HIGH QUALITY lossy mp3s, upload them on megaupload, and post them properly on the mainpage. Must have good internet dl/ul speed and familiar with HTML.

For more info on these positions, go here.

For now, stay tuned!

Forget it Jpz, we’re f3cked. Check this out: http://www.maximumpc.com/article/news/megaupload_data_safe_and_sound_least_two_more_weeks#comments_top_anchor

Don’t waste your bandwidth, wait 2 weeks later and see if Mediafire decides not to follow the corrupted politicians of America’s orders. Then you can start uploading them. Otherwise, you should upload using those sites where they automatically make mirrors for you.

      • Ruwi says:

Another reason Labian said he wasn’t worried about the government stepping in is because the company maintains a “good relationship” with various government bodies, including “Homeland Security, ICE, and the FBI.” Following DMCA protocols, whenever MediaFire is notified of a copyrighted file being shared inappropriately, the company immediately takes it down.

There are a lot of cases where mediafire removes copyrighted materials so fast that it wont even last for a week sigh~

          • Ruwi says:

For that reason I think you guys should change the format on how to upload files, currently jpzstaffs are Uploading files with same file names as the original which is very inconvenient; if we are to base on how companies like MediaFire tracks uploaded files within their database…, I think renaming the files differently than the original files should be exercise before Uploading files in MF.

            Ex:

Instead of uploading JpzTuneOST.rar (Original) in MF, I think it’s better if you guys should rename the files to a harder to track file name than the original to TSOenutzpj.rar or J-p-z-T-u-n-e-O-S-T.rar so that it’ll be harder for MF to remove or delete these files

By the way this is just my honest advice because when I saw some of the newer uploads of Jpzstaffs in MF, it seems they’re uploaded with the same names as the original which makes MF easier to track delete/remove the uploaded files.

I have problems to download the torrent of the full collection of Exit Tunes
    http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=278514
Today it says: DHT not allowed, peer exchange not allowed.
The tracker is dead. The torrent is stuck at 92.4%
    I don’t know why.
